Our organization focuses on the collection and recycling of “Devotional Extras” such as flowers, fruits, leaves, ash, and more. These items are typically discarded under Peepal Trees, in rivers, lakes, or the ocean after religious rituals conducted in homes, offices, shops, and temples.
It is widely recognized that this disposal practice not only undermines the genuine purpose of the “Devotional Value (Aastha)” associated with these items (which is why people refrain from throwing them into regular dustbins), but also harms the environment. Despite devotees’ good intentions, they lack a suitable alternative.
At Haarwala, we provide a professional, sustainable, and scalable solution to address this issue. We offer a viable option for responsible disposal and recycling, ensuring that the “Devotional Value” remains intact while preserving the environment.
Our Process
1. Collecting the Devotional Extras
Our dedicated team will collect devotional extras from your doorsteps every 7 days. We understand the value of these items and ensure their safe collection to honor their significance.
2. Segregating the Devotional Extras
We meticulously separate the organic extras such as flowers and leaves from any extraneous materials like plastic or paper. Our thorough segregation process ensures that only the purest organic components are utilized for composting.
3. Making Organic Compost
We transform the organic extras, such as flowers, leaves, and fruits, into nutrient-rich organic compost. Our team follows environmentally-friendly practices, creating compost that nourishes the soil and promotes sustainable farming.
4. Putting the compost to use for a Social Cause
we distribute the compost to underprivileged farmers in India, free of charge. This compost boosts agricultural productivity.
Maintaining the ‘Devotional Value and Caring for the Environment’ throughout is core to our process. And hence, unlike others we do not just pick and dump anywhere, including Municipal garbage dumps, but, own the complete recycling process to ensure proper “Aastha or Shudhikaran” and true care for the environment is maintained throughout the process.
